Items to keep in mind when applying to the English Session

1. Transportation to the venue
The Rikkyo University Ikebukuro Campus venue is a 5 min walk from the Ikebukuro Station on the JR Yamanote Line. For details, please see the map at: http://www.rikkyo.ac.jp/

2. Accommodations and dining in the vicinity of the venue
There are many accommodations and dining facilities in the vicinity of Ikebukuro Station.  Participants are asked to make their own arrangements and reservations. Please refer to the following link: http://www.asiarooms.com/en/japan/tokyo/ikebukuro.html

3. Working language in programs other than the English Session
The meeting programs other than those of the English Session shall be conducted in Japanese. There will be no Japanese-English interpretation available.

4. Fees for participating in the meeting as part of the English Session
The Japanese Society of Environmental Education (JSOEE) has established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Society for Environmental Education, Chinese Society for Environmental Education and the North American Association for Environmental Education. Those who wish to be exempt from participation fees as a result of this agreement should submit their applications through the person responsible for international exchange or the Chair of their respective society. Furthermore, the number of participants exempt from paying participation fees is limited according to the agreement with each country; when the number of participants exceeds this limit, participation fees will be required.

Participation in the Reception costs JPY 3,000, and is payable in cash on the day of the reception. Those wishing to take part in the Reception should clearly state so on their application to take part in the meeting, which should be submitted the society to which they belong.
